About the Role
As an NVH Technician specializing in Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH), you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and analyzing NVH issues at our facility in AMP2 KSA. You will work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment alongside a driven team, tackling challenging projects. Collaborating closely with NVH Engineers and various cross-functional teams, your proactive approach will help ensure we maintain high quality standards on the production line throughout the entire product lifecycle.

You Will:

  • Respect safety rules by wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, vests, shoes, gloves, and hard hats as required.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment according to 6S standards.
  • Execute NVH testing protocols and conduct investigations, diagnosis, and troubleshooting to localize NVH sources, performing trials and tests for root cause confirmation.
  • Support Manufacturing Quality by conducting NVH testing and resolving issues identified during Pre-Delivery Inspections and Customer Product Audits.
  • Ensure proper vehicle instrumentation is in place when needed, using accelerometers and microphones to capture and record data during NVH testing.
  • Support NVH root cause analysis for field issues and assist NVH Engineers in validating countermeasures.
  • Document NVH testing procedures and results accurately.
  • Maintain NVH testing equipment, tools, and instruments in optimal condition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance NVH performance.
  • Adhere to the established standards and acceptance criteria as outlined in the company's Quality Procedures.
  • Conduct NVH tests on vehicles and subsystems as necessary to improve overall NVH performance.
  • Provide constructive feedback and work with manufacturing to improve NVH-related processes.
  • Support repair procedures for NVH issues from the launch phase to mass production.
  • Train new hires from quality/production on vehicle inspection methods and acceptance criteria.

You Bring:

  • High School Diploma or Industrial School Graduate (Electrical or Mechanic) is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry is essential, particularly with OEMs. Experience in a Greenfield Plant is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience specifically in an NVH Technician role is a must.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proficiency in leading complex issues and effectively communicating across various organizational levels.
  • Capability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with NVH testing, measurement equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Knowledge of NVH testing methodologies, including order tracking, FFT analysis, and transfer path analysis.
  • Familiarity with Electric Vehicle NVH testing parameters such as e-motor, inverter switching noise, road/tire noise, and battery pack vibration.
  • Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills.
  • A strong team player with creativity, energy, motivation, and exceptional organizational abilities.
