Key Responsibilities:

Database Administration:
- Install, configure, and administer databases including MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
- Design highly available, secure, and distributed database systems.
- Implement security measures for database access and govern database access policies.

Server Administration:
- Install, configure, and administer Linux servers (Ubuntu & Redhat).

Security & Governance:
- Conduct security audits, capacity planning, and establish pro-active monitoring for databases and resources.
- Implement data encryption, masking, and ensure data security and integrity.

Cluster Management:
- Manage node consistency, replication, multi-DC configuration, and recovery processes.

Data Management:
- Knowledge of ETL, data modeling, and report/dashboard creation with visualizations.
- Expertise in the AWS RDS platform and optimizing cloud architecture for cost.

Communication & Collaboration:
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders, familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferably Computer Science or related STEM).
- 8-10 years of DBA experience.
- Proficiency in MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka.
- Certification in the mentioned technologies is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
