As the OCN Monitor/Escort Lead Dispatcher, you will provide essential supervision and day-to-day task management for a team of up to 20 Escorts, under the guidance of the Site Manager (SM) and Assistant Site Manager (ASM). Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to local mission and site policies, supervising daily operations, resolving conflicts, and fostering a safe workplace. This role requires proficient problem-solving skills and aims to ensure mission success and quality standards are met. Additionally, you may perform other duties as assigned, such as Vehicle Control Officer or In Country Liaison.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform any duties assigned to support the mission.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the duties and responsibilities of the Escorts.
  • Ensure that the team of Escorts adequately monitors un-cleared personnel (LN/OCN), making on-the-spot corrections when necessary.
  • Oversee the proper logging of LNs/OCNs personnel in and out, ensuring personnel counts are performed before and after their duties.
  • General supervision of the team to ensure the work zone is cleared by trained Force Protection military personnel and all LNs/OCNs have exited base or returned to camps.
  • Ensure compliance with local base escorting policies by your team.
  • Provide necessary training to ensure Escorts fully understand site policies and responsibilities.
  • De-escalate issues through professional communication in a timely manner.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced multi-discipline environment while managing competing priorities to achieve team goals.
  • Demonstrate supervisory skills including effective planning, organizing, directing, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Employ strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to guide the team to consensus.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to interact with staff at all levels.
  • Use Land Mobile Radios, cell phones, laptops, and other devices to maintain contact and accountability of work activities.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, days, and evenings.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years of experience supervising ten or more personnel.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of prior experience working overseas.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Valid US Passport (preferred).
  • Physical, valid US Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy requirements.
  • Capable of obtaining and maintaining a valid Residency Visa for Kuwait.
  • Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions, including dust and high temperatures.
  • Capacity to endure long hours and exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

TRAVEL: 100%, Deployed Overseas
