What You’ll Do:

  • Guide customers using or adopting Oracle Database @ Azure and GCP to achieve Database platform excellence by adopting best practices and supporting tools in infrastructure, database workload, and database security.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional technical teams to gather relevant inputs, ensuring comprehensive and actionable solutions.
  • Accelerate customer opportunities through technical presentations, workshops, and solution assistance.
  • Research and evaluate emerging solutions and services to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product management to steer features based on customers' inputs and requirements.
  • Create compelling external publications and internal documentation focused on Oracle Database @ Azure/GCP and recommended processes for running workloads.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2+ years of Solution Engineering experience with a Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to engage with customers and internal stakeholders for strategic discussions around Exadata Cloud@Customer, particularly in trusted advisor roles with C-level executives.
  • Experience with Oracle Database, Data Centre Networking, and Security, along with a general knowledge of hybrid Cloud offerings and Data Centre topologies.
  • Strong understanding of OCI, including hands-on experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to address sophisticated technical issues in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven capacity to quickly learn new technical domains.
