Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure safety and environmental management systems are systematically maintained and documented across all workshops, warehouses, and office areas.
- Review and analyze inspection data to identify trends in noncompliance and govern the tracking and closure of all reported findings.
- Serve as a primary advisor to management and supervisors on the integration of HSE protocols into administrative and operational workflows.
- Administer the management-approved Risk Framework, maintaining the Risk Register.
- Develop and oversee training programs for risk assessments, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and environmental impact evaluations to ensure standardized application across the organization.
- Prepare comprehensive performance reports, strategic recommendations, and data summaries for senior leadership review.
- Manage the internal HSE training curriculum, schedules, and records for all employees and contractors.
- Oversee the administrative documentation and manifest systems for waste management to ensure strict compliance with UAE regulations and organizational procedures.
- Maintain the strict confidentiality and security of all sensitive company information and HSE records.
- Provide technical mentorship and administrative support to other members of the HSE team to ensure departmental objectives are fulfilled.
- Perform other duties as required by line managers or department managers.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, particularly in a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in an HSE role is mandatory.
- Exposure to a technical program related to industrial safety is preferred.
- Capability to monitor and analyze HSE trends is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software and email correspondence is essential.
- Ability to learn governmental regulations regarding HSE subjects and apply this knowledge to identify safety and environmental deficiencies is required.
- Capacity to interact with both management and non-management personnel to discuss identified deficiencies is essential.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision on a daily basis is a must.
- Experience in developing HSE training materials and delivering presentations to diverse groups is required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple administrative projects simultaneously without supervision is necessary.
- A good work ethic is required; punctuality and regular attendance are crucial.
- Proficiency in communicating effectively in English, both in writing and verbally, is required.
- Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid UAE driver's license.
