About the Role
As a security team member, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of all guests and property. You will patrol all areas of the property, assist guests with room access, monitor Closed Circuit Television systems, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and the fire life safety system. You will also be responsible for conducting daily physical hazard inspections, responding to accidents, and administering first aid or CPR as required. In emergencies, you will assist guests and employees, notify appropriate individuals of incidents, and manage disturbances effectively.

Responsibilities
- Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
- Monitor security systems such as CCTV and alarm systems.
- Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily physical hazard inspections.
- Respond to accidents and emergencies, including contacting EMS or providing first aid/CPR if necessary.
- Complete incident reports documenting Security/Loss Prevention incidents.
- Defuse disturbances involving guests or employees and escort unwelcome persons from the property.
- Report vehicle accidents or thefts and call for assistance using proper codes.
- Maintain the confidentiality of Security/Loss Prevention documents and reports.
- Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring the safety and security of guests and property.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests, address service needs, and maintain professional appearance and behavior.
- Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
- Perform physical tasks such as moving and lifting objects (less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance; over 75 pounds with assistance) and navigating various surfaces and spaces.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: No prior experience required.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience needed.
- License or Certification: No specific licenses or certifications required, though some states may have additional requirements.
- Ability to read and verify information in various formats and visually inspect tools and equipment.
- Proficient in entering and locating work-related information using computers and point of sale systems.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Capable of moving quickly to respond to work situations.
