Key Responsibilities
- Support timely and accurate preparation of monthly MIS reports, including P&L and Balance Sheet by store, region, and business unit.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including ledger scrutiny, provision entries, and adjustments of prepayments.
- Review general ledger and trial balance entries to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile intra-company transactions related to purchases, sales, and transfers, ensuring all entries are correctly posted.
- Manage insurance coordination for retail outlets, warehouses, offices, and other company assets.
- Generate supporting reports for management, finance, and other internal departments as required.
- Assist with the closure of financial modules within ERP systems (such as APPS) during monthly closing periods.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent data flow for MIS reporting and compliance tracking.
- Maintain and organize MIS documentation, policies, and audit trail for easy reference and compliance purposes.
Desired Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in Management Information Systems (MIS) or IT management, with experience in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in database management, data analysis, and ERP systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- In-depth understanding of MIS principles, data security, and compliance standards.
