OHL Engineer

About the Role
This role involves managing high-voltage power transmission line projects in Abu Dhabi as an experienced Overhead Transmission Line (OHL) Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the routing of overhead transmission lines, tower spotting, and stringing operations, ensuring compliance with local utility standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage overhead transmission line routing and tower spotting.
• Oversee stringing operations for high-voltage projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of dedicated professional experience in Overhead Transmission Line (OHL) engineering, construction, or maintenance.
• In-depth technical knowledge of tower design, conductor stringing, hardware selection, and clearance calculations.
• Familiarity with UAE/GCC power sector regulations and standards (e.g., DEWA/Transco guidelines) is a strong advantage.
