As an AI Product Owner, you will shape the AI products and agentic solutions for clients and the firm, driving the AI-first transformation work. You will own the functionality of AI products, overseeing everything from business discovery and agentic workflow design to hands-on prototyping, validation, user adoption, and measurable outcomes. This is a non-traditional product owner role that requires collaboration in small multidisciplinary teams with AI Product Engineers, consultants, industry experts, and client teams on live engagements. Responsibilities

  • Discovery and problem framing: Engage with users and client teams to understand business problems, map processes, exceptions, decisions, and data dependencies, and identify areas where agents add value versus simpler automation.
  • Agentic workflow and solution design: Define agent roles, tool use, hand-offs, human checkpoints, failure handling, and appropriate autonomy. Create solution blueprints that connect user journeys, workflows, data flows, and controls.
  • Hands-on prototyping and agent behavior: Construct and refine agent and workflow prototypes using agent platforms, no-code tools, or light scripting. Experiment and test solutions against realistic scenarios.
  • Acceptance and readiness: Define and perform functional acceptance tests that cover successful outcomes and edge cases. Own business acceptance and manage technical, security, and risk approvals with specialists.
  • Product ownership and value: Develop clear requirements, priorities, backlog, roadmap, and acceptance criteria. Create business cases, establish performance baselines, and measure realized value post-deployment.
  • Human-agent experience and adoption: Design user interactions with AI agents and support change management, including training and handover for client teams.
  • Responsible AI and controls: Establish guidelines for acceptable use, data access, accountability, and decision boundaries, collaborating with engineers and specialists for proper governance.
  • Collaboration and client impact: Transform business needs into actionable scope and align technical constraints with business decisions.
  • AI-native practice and continuous improvement: Utilize AI tools to enhance processes and contribute resources as you grow in experience, leading product workstreams and mentoring others.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Evidence of building and testing at least one working AI, agentic, or automation prototype.
  • Capability to identify user needs, map processes, and translate ambiguous problems into clear requirements.
  • Working technical knowledge of large language models (LLMs), agents, tool integration, APIs, and common technical issues to effectively collaborate with engineers.
  • Practical experience in refining agent instructions and workflows based on realistic feedback.
  • Ability to recognize dependencies on data, systems, permissions, and human approvals, along with technical or operational constraints.
  • Understanding of functional acceptance testing for agent behaviors and when to escalate issues.
  • Product judgement, including defining success measures and using data to enhance products.
  • A human-centered design approach, focusing on user journeys, trust, and accessibility.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities with both business and technology stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
