About the Role:
The Ongoing Due Diligence (ODD) Maker is responsible for reviewing, processing, and contacting customers to finalize Ongoing Due Diligence cases, ensuring that all necessary documentation is provided and that thorough due diligence is conducted. The role requires effective communication with customers and meticulous attention to detail in handling documentation and case management.

Key Accountabilities of the Role:

  • Review, process, and contact customers to finalize cases related to Ongoing Due Diligence, ensuring proper documentation is provided and thorough due diligence is conducted.
  • Send the ODD form and requirements to customers via their registered email address after conducting a gap assessment.
  • Collect documents and information for ODD from customers via email or in person at the branch.
  • Review the ODD form and assist customers in filling it out accurately, including transaction details, annual turnover, FATCA details, and supplier/project names.
  • Verify the Trade License, Certificate of Good Standing, Memorandum of Association, Emirates ID, customer signature, and other support documents online.
  • Call customers for confirmation prior to uploading documents into the BPM system (if documents are received via email).
  • Ensure a true copy stamp is placed on the Emirates ID for documents received physically at the branch.
  • Upload documents into BPM with additional remarks as necessary.
  • Manage all received and allocated emails effectively.
  • Update the tracker sheet in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Achieve monthly set targets established by management.
  • Handle cases in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and maintain a discrepancy rate of less than 3% (referring to cases returned from the checker).
  • Complete additional tasks assigned by the supervisor or deputy with high dedication.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for This Role:

  • Good knowledge of products and services.
  • Familiarity with service policies and procedures.
  • Fair understanding of banking practices, regulations, and associated risks.
  • Good knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations issued by regulatory authorities.
  • Computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
