Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise purchase requisitions upon receiving requirements.
  • Conduct daily follow-ups with all concerned teams for pending items, both internally and externally.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion is essential.
  • Basic finance knowledge regarding Capex/Opex, Accruals is necessary.
  • Ensure timely execution of assignments.
  • Provide Level 1 desktop support when required.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and renewals.
  • Analyze pricing, compare vendor proposals, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with IT teams, finance, and legal departments.
  • Manage multitasking efficiently.
  • Conduct technical evaluations.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT procurement.

Education Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Networking, IT, or a related discipline.
  • Equivalent vendor training plus relevant experience may be considered.

Soft Skills and Behavioral Competencies:

  • Hands-on, dependable, and physically present where the work happens.
  • Disciplined in following procedures and change controls.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong documentation discipline.
  • Readiness for on-call, weekend changes, and emergency response.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in email correspondence.
  • Eager to learn.
