Dautom is seeking an experienced OpenShift Administrator to manage and maintain Red Hat OpenShift environments, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and upgrading of OpenShift clusters, monitoring and troubleshooting cluster issues, implementing security best practices, and automating infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Red Hat OpenShift environments.
- Manage the installation, configuration, and upgrading of OpenShift clusters and related components.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in OpenShift clusters and workloads.
- Implement security best practices, managing role-based access control (RBAC), network policies, and OpenShift security features.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools like Ansible or Terraform.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployment.
- Optimize resource usage and capacity planning within the OpenShift environment.
- Perform regular backups, disaster recovery testing, and cluster upgrades.
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Stay current with updates, patches, and best practices for Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes administration.
- Proficient in Linux system administration and networking concepts.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Podman) and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python) for automation and administration tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
