OpenShift & IBM CloudPak Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled OpenShift & IBM CloudPak Solution Architect with extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-grade container platforms and hybrid cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in OpenShift, IBM CloudPak, and DevOps frameworks, along with a strong background in the banking industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage containerized environments using Red Hat OpenShift and IBM CloudPak solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable and secure architectures.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of OpenShift clusters in production environments.
• Integrate CloudPak solutions with existing enterprise systems, middleware, and databases.
• Define CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes to streamline operations.
• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and optimization of container platforms.
• Provide architectural guidance and best practices for hybrid and multi-cloud deployments.
• Work closely with banking clients to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of total IT experience with 5+ years in OpenShift platform administration and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with IBM CloudPak (Integration, Automation, or Data).
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Proven experience in solution design and implementation in the banking or financial services sector.
• Familiarity with cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments (Red Hat, IBM Cloud, Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator / Architect
• IBM Certified CloudPak Professional
• Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
