Operation & Maintenance Quality Manager

About the Role
The company is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Operation & Maintenance Quality Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Mission
Ensures support to the Project Director and the project management team regarding all quality related issues on a Operation & Maintenance project to support its objective achievement in terms of quality, supplier & subcontractor quality, and customer satisfaction. Leads the implementation, maturity assessment and improvement of all processes along the entire value chain to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment across the project.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Cooperating with the customer and the Consortium organisation on Project Quality issues and ensuring ownership of actions to resolve it.
• Enabling and coaching all project team members to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a quality and customer/stakeholder point of view.
• Analyzing transferability of experience between projects and planning Quality Assurance activities to reduce all forms of risk.
• Collaborating with the project team to develop schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets for quality activities.
• Applying project quality procedures and plans and ensuring appropriate implementation and compliance from the project team.
• Certifying effective internal controls system (project, supply, site) is in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements, validating that control plans are applied and effective in mitigating prioritized risks.
• Performing audits on project delivery and ensuring the use of Quality data analytics from all aspects of the operation to identify risks, failures and nonconformances within the local business, its suppliers and customers.
• Ensuring that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken, and solutions are managed to closure.

As a Manager (M3), you will manage experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments. Responsibilities typically include:

• Policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year or less).
• Problem-solving for difficult to moderately complex issues.
• Influencing others outside of your own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures.

Accountabilities

• Ensure competent contribution to Project team activities through PQE, by participating in the kick-off meeting, defining the SOW for remote activities, updating QA Cost Estimation, establishing and updating the Project Quality System (Quality Plan and Procedures), proposing the Project Quality Report, establishing the Software Project Quality Plan (with support from WPL), and developing suitable quality KPIs.
• Ensure training sessions with reference to the Project Quality System (including updates) or help coordinate process-specific training such as Teamcenter.
• Ensure interface, as a support to the Project Manager, with the client, partners, suppliers, and third parties regarding quality aspects.
• Verify the purchase specifications for quality aspects of package or complex supplies.
• Establish and update the Software Project Quality Plan and Configuration Management Plan based upon input from the applicable stakeholders and support from relevant parties.
• Establish and maintain the Project SharePoint, giving support to the team.

Shared Accountabilities

• Support the PM for the performance of the Project Management Reviews.
• Support the Project Team for a constant formalization of records.
• Support the PM in the recording and follow-up of Stakeholder Satisfaction data.
• Support the PE in the organization and performance of Design Reviews.
• Promote and contribute to the definition of the project document template and project coding.
• Support Manufacturing, Construction, and Commissioning for the preparation of Test Reports.
• Support the COM for software management and relevant forms.
• Ensure the testing and inspection process is effectively implemented.
• Support the Project Team in defining and updating planning documents.
• Support in the structure and procedure to be agreed with the client for handover files.

Required Skills & Experience

• Education: University Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent Technical background
• Experience: 5 to 10 years of business experience
• Knowledge & Skills:
  • Applicable Standards and Certification knowledge (ISO, IRIS, CMMI, CENELEC…)
