Key Accountabilities of the Role
- Providing proactive support to the Operational Risk Management team on all matters.
- Over time, and with appropriate training, assist with operational risk management tools and activities including:
- Supporting the business in managing operational risk incidents and losses.
- Facilitating the identification and assessment of key operational risk exposures in accordance with the ORM Framework and related procedural standards.
- Aiding in the management of issues and ensuring the timely implementation of actions.
- Assisting in the identification and assessment of key risk indicators.
- Updating and monitoring operational risk data using the Group ORM platform.
- Collating data for regular reports on operational risk profiles, analyses, and exposures.
Program Management
- Supporting the implementation and development of the ORM program and tools such as Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), incident management, and issues & actions management within the organization.
- Assisting in the implementation of ORM policies and procedures.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge
- Ability to collaborate effectively with co-workers and business stakeholders.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to learn rapidly.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including qualitative analysis, research, and quantitative analysis.
- Proficient with computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- This position is open to UAE National fresh graduates.
- No specific work experience is required.
