This is a risk management role supporting the implementation of the Operational Risk Management (ORM) Framework, with an initial focus on incident management and related activities. The role requires a proactive and confident individual with good analytical skills. The person responsible for this position will be asked to support the execution and implementation of the ORM Framework throughout the organization. A keen eye for detail and a strong appetite to learn and be tested in different areas are essential. A sound work ethic and desire for self-development are also critical for success.

Key Accountabilities of the Role:

Providing proactive support to the Operational Risk Management team on all matters.

Over time, and with appropriate training, assist with the following:
Operational Risk Management Tools:
- Support the business in managing operational risk incidents and losses.
- Assist in the identification and assessment of key operational risk exposures in accordance with the Operational Risk Management Framework and related procedural standards.
- Aid in the management of Issues and ensure timely implementation of actions.
- Support in the identification and assessment of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Help in updating and monitoring operational risk data using the Group Operational Risk Management platform.
- Collate data for regular reports on operational risk profiles, analysis, and exposures on a regular basis.
Program Management:
- Support the implementation and development of the ORM program and tools, such as Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), KRIs, incident management, and Issues & Actions management.
- Assist in the implementation of ORM policies and procedures within the organization.
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with co-workers and business stakeholders.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated with a capacity for rapid learning.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills (including qualitative analysis), research skills, and quantitative capabilities.
- Proficient in computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
Previous Experience:
- No specific work experience requirement; however, a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is necessary.
- This position is open to UAE National fresh graduates.
