Operational Risk Manager

About the Job

The company is looking for an Operational Risk Manager for the Jubail project in Eastern Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing all aspects of risk at the Jubail compound, ensuring effective communication with Royal Commission Security and active participation in security meetings. The Jubail project is a major civil engineering initiative designed to develop new residential communities, iconic structures, and essential infrastructure over five years, under the management of the company for the Royal Commission.

Major Responsibilities:

• Supervise risk activities at the company project and job site.
• Inform management of accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
• Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement, corporate Operational Risk groups, and third-party information providers for threat information.
• Implement risk awareness and training programs for employees.
• Supervise and evaluate gate house staff and personnel.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Any degree/diploma with 10-13 years of experience, or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
• Background in Security, Risk, Military Service, or similar.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams and make independent decisions.
• Experience working within culturally diverse organizations.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Familiarity with Operational Risk management.
• Skills in conducting threat assessments, writing policies and procedures, and liaising with security agencies.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CCTV and alarm systems.
• Capable of handling challenging situations and stakeholders.

Language Requirements:

• Proficient communication in English is essential.
