Operations and Support Engineer

the company is seeking an Operations and Support Engineer – Level 2 for the Global Services team. In this role, you will provide tier II technical support for incidents, problems, and change management of hosted and managed solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical support for Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid services.
• Designing and implementing changes into the systems.
• Maintaining and enhancing internal tools to improve service industrialization.
• Offering technical guidance for service evolution and conducting technical analyses.
• Leading the optimization of service reliability, performance, and security.
• Participating in the definition of production requirements and managing performance metrics.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Work Conditions: Hybrid, Full-time; Rotating shifts with 24/7 coverage

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

• Experience with Linux or Unix applications; Unix or Shell scripting; SQL or Oracle database queries.
• Familiarity with WebLogic administration, ticketing tools, and monitoring tools (e.g., OP5, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Experience managing production systems in Cloud or Hybrid-Cloud environments, and knowledge of debugging methods and tools.
• Proficiency in Cloud technologies (e.g., Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes); familiarity with AWS and Google Cloud is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with experience in customer-facing roles and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be fluent in English.
• A Degree in Information Technology or a related field is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT support and operations is preferred.
