What You’ll Do
Process Excellence:

  • Own the company’s operations process register and documentation, from high-level maps to step-by-step standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring a named owner and backup for every process.
  • Map every process and write detailed SOPs for the core ones, establishing a review cadence to ensure documentation remains current.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on recurring incidents and errors, translating findings into actionable process or system changes.

Automation and Tooling:

  • Build and prioritize the operations automation backlog by evaluating volume, risk, and effort.
  • Scope requirements, draft clear specifications, execute user acceptance testing, and approve releases before implementation.
  • Implement changes to core money flows including dividend automation, receivables, payable approval rules, payment integrations, and data capture within the admin platform.
  • Leverage AI to enhance efficiency, while clearly defining areas where human intervention remains necessary.

Collaboration with Product and Tech:

  • Present a unified, prioritized list of operations change requests to the Product team, detailing the problem and its operational impact.
  • Collaborate with Product to determine priority and execution timelines, facilitating direct interaction between operations teams and Product.

Data and Metrics:

  • Ensure consistency within the admin platform, CRM, and property management system, maintaining a singular source of truth for all data types.
  • Develop live dashboards for the KPI catalog and establish incident monitoring to identify problems in real-time.

Change Management:

  • Pilot and evaluate each change initiative, providing SOPs and training for process owners to maintain operational efficiency from day one.
  • Assess the efficacy of changes by measuring time, errors, or cost savings pre- and post-implementation.
  • Post-change implementation, hand over the responsibility of running the processes to the respective teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business operations, process improvement, business systems, or operations excellence, ideally within the fintech, financial services, or startup sectors.
  • Proven experience in mapping, documenting, and automating processes with measurable results.
  • Strong data proficiency, comfortable using spreadsheets and SQL to build insightful dashboards.
  • An AI-first mindset, with a coherent understanding of manual processes and automation opportunities.
  • A focus on operational efficiency, measuring success by team performance rather than outputs produced.
  • System-oriented thinking, questioning process integrity when issues arise.
  • Experience collaborating with engineers, capable of drafting clear requirements and testing releases effectively without coding experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage teams and manage expectations up to senior leadership.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while maintaining deliverables.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Why You Should Join the Company

  • Flexible hybrid work environment.
  • Collaboration with senior leadership in one of the region’s fastest-growing startups, providing exposure to various functions and an opportunity to influence company operations.
  • Competitive equity compensation plan, allowing you to grow alongside the company.
  • Budget available for learning and development initiatives.
  • Access to a premier end-of-service savings scheme through the DIFC DEWS programme.
  • Regular team events and off-site gatherings.

The company fosters a high-performance culture, attracting ambitious and curious individuals who value our mission and seek growth alongside us.
