About the Role
The Operation Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of the company's E-Commerce Operations, including operation management, monitoring picking rates, marshalling, and dispatching. This role involves motivating the team to increase efficiency and working towards organizational goals. The Operations Manager will also liaise with the store to ensure customer satisfaction with online services, focusing on timely delivery, freshness, quality, and fulfillment of orders, while coordinating with the head office on necessary measures to align profit and loss with the budget.

Role Profile

  • Manage all e-commerce fulfillment operation centers, including coordination with the last mile team.
  • Ensure all orders are delivered on time and handed over to the Last Mile team promptly.
  • Monitor and ensure proper arrangement of all dark stores and stock adequacy.
  • Ensure coordination among the operations team, commercial team, IT, Head Office E-merchandise team, and Head Office Services team.
  • Manage e-commerce operations in compliance with policies established by the company.
  • Understand, evaluate, and problem-solve logistics, operations, and other system process hurdles.
  • Ensure accuracy of delivery quantities with implemented QC audits as per defined controls by loss prevention.
  • Implement the performance management process.
  • Monitor attendance, disciplinary actions, and performance measures.
  • Monitor the allocated budget to ensure compliance and take corrective measures when necessary.
  • Provide input on the development of the annual budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce or Business Administration.
  • 5 to 8 years of professional work experience in logistics and supply chain.
  • Experience in e-commerce fulfillment and last mile operations.
  • Retail experience is a plus.
