The Operations Program Manager will manage specific domains of Operations related to the EGAP application strategy and oversee programs/projects, both business and EGAP related. The role aims to produce results that meet the benefits defined in the business cases. Collaborating with the VP Operations, the manager will identify, champion, develop, and coordinate programs in areas such as Ops processes, EGAP operations toolkit, service quality, operational efficiency, and cost improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage and implement specific programs/projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for regional Operations users for specific projects.
  • Interface with external customers as needed for program objectives.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to provide necessary infrastructure and report on costs and benefits of programs.
  • Ensure that external stakeholders are consulted regarding program direction and issues.
  • Present programs for approval and plan implementation and execution after approval.
  • Assist with training and ensure users can optimize new processes and systems.
  • Develop performance targets, monitor individual performance, and identify training needs.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Experience managing people, with a minimum of 7 years of overall experience (at least 3 years at a managerial level).
  • Strong background in Ops Applications, with knowledge of express/transport operations processes preferred.
  • Well-developed project/process management skills with strong analytical abilities.
  • Proven ability in report writing, conducting service-based audits, and performing gap analyses.
  • Flexibility in operating style, strong presentation skills, and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
  • Knowledge of transportation, courier, import/export operations, and regulations in the region.
  • Arabic language proficiency is a strong advantage.

This role is essential for ensuring operational performance meets both internal and external customer expectations while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
