Operations Program Manager

About the Job:
The Operations Program Manager will focus on managing specific domains of Operations regarding EGAP application strategy and will oversee programs/projects related to both Business and EGAP. The primary goal is to achieve the benefits defined in the business cases by enhancing operational efficiency and service quality, while managing costs effectively.
In collaboration with the VP Operations, the role involves identifying, developing, and coordinating programs that ensure performance meets internal and external customer expectations. Responsibilities include directing and managing programs and projects, interfacing with external customers and stakeholders, and ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interface with external customers and internal teams to gather program objectives.
• Recommend program scope, costs, and benefits.
• Conduct presentations and provide regular updates to management about project progress.
• Support country operations in resolving system, process, and service performance issues.
• Manage the implementation of programs, ensuring appropriate support and training.
• Participate in user training sessions and develop a post-audit review methodology to measure program effectiveness.
• Establish performance targets and manage resources to achieve country objectives.

Requirements:

• Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in managing people directly or indirectly.
• Strong understanding of operations in the express courier industry and relevant information systems.
• Well-versed in project/process management with excellent analytical skills.
• Proven ability to conduct audits, prepare reports, and manage service-based projects flexibly and diplomatically.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with the company in the Operations/Services environment is preferred.
• Understanding of transportation and courier operations regulations in the region.
