Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders within the bank and internal operations team.
- Understand the inner workings of the bank to identify obstacles and develop solutions.
- Build excellent working relationships with all cross-functional teams within EPOS.
- Ensure knowledge of SAMA regulations, SLAs, and MADA branding rules related to POS business.
- Gain expertise in settlement and reconciliation processes.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for your account by developing a comprehensive understanding of contracts and contractual responsibilities.
- Maintain a history of engagement and reports in an organized format on your PC.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while establishing a positive work atmosphere.
- Maintain standard office working hours and promote an “Account ownership” culture.
- Manage overall engagements with the bank, including merchant onboarding and terminal management.
- Serve as the single point of contact for the POS vendor to accomplish installation and maintenance requests within SLA.
- Ensure merchant account settlement and reconciliation while providing exceptional service to VIP customers.
- Prepare daily updates to publish accurate reports for the bank or internal teams.
- Process amendments or changes to existing merchant credentials and maintain historical merchant information.
- Prepare SAMA SLA reports for submission to SAMA and manage chargebacks, claims, and disputes in coordination with the respective bank.
- Control stock inventory and ensure timely updates to the billing system for financial billing.
- Validate invoices prior to submission to banks and proactively highlight discrepancies to the finance department.
- Maintain daily maintenance/installation reports and ensure data accuracy and frequency as per bank agreements.
- Prepare and back up mandate reports (POS SLA/MADA branding/Active-Inactive/Segmentation/Stock reports) to safeguard operational continuity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Law, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Operations Officer or Accounts Officer.
- Strong banking knowledge and understanding of the SAMA regulatory framework are required.
- In-depth knowledge of KSA regulatory compliance in financial and payment services is essential.
- Familiarity with Terminal Management Systems (TMS – SAMA) and proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft tools.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic, both written and oral.
- Self-driven, hardworking, and able to work independently across functional groups on multiple initiatives.
