Position

The Operations Specialist - Maker is responsible for the review and processing of RIM and account opening documents for individual customers related to Branches and Direct Sales Unit (DSU). This role involves maintaining related documentation based on approved requests in accordance with agreed time standards, authorities, and operational policies to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process RIM and account opening related to Branches and DSU, ensuring all documentation complies with the approved requests.
  • Maintain the BPM workflow for timely opening of accounts for branches and DSU, ensuring information input in AMBIT and related systems is accurate.
  • Advise business on discrepancies or missing documents and maintain follow-up standards through regular communication.
  • Ensure timely submission of documents to CCU via BPM for FileNet upload and perform end-to-end account opening in AMBIT.
  • Update dashboard and TAT reports daily, ensuring that KYC/EDD is obtained for high-risk cases and GCD approvals are secured.
  • Investigate customer and business inquiries, providing solutions to reported issues, and reconcile accounts, escalating outstanding items as necessary.
  • Undertake training programs to enhance job knowledge and assist in training new staff recruits.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of banking experience related to customer onboarding.
  • Knowledge of banking requirements such as account opening documents and systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, capable of developing relationships at various organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Proficient in general office systems, PC skills, and MS Office products.
  • Ability to manage time and priorities effectively while understanding the context of work and recognizing issues that need escalation.
