Operations Supervisor

About the Job
An Operations Supervisor looks after the Field Team’s performance, efficiency, and productivity and provides essential and critical reports related to the people, operations, and overall Network Condition to the Operations Manager, Engineers, and Management team - ensuring smooth operations on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Conducts training. Implements and enforces systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.
• Completes operations by developing schedules, assigning and monitoring work, gathering resources, implementing productivity standards, resolving operations problems, maintaining reference manuals, and implementing new procedures.
• Controls expenses by gathering and submitting budget information, scheduling expenditures, monitoring variances, and implementing corrective actions.
• Provides quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Conducts regular inspections and audits and generates operational reports, presenting findings to management, articulating successes and areas of opportunity.
• Works closely with team leaders to optimize operations.
• Reviews and adjusts operational vehicle routes to enhance efficiency while adapting to fluctuating workloads.
• Leads the identification and resolution of incidents, coordinating with developers and external stakeholders to ensure quick issue/complaints resolution and addressing concerns.
• Manages and maintains operations vehicles (maintenance, service check, fuel, incidents) and obtains necessary permits within developer communities to support the scope of work when required.
• Creates a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages team performance and innovation.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years previous experience as an operations supervisor or similar role; experience in managing teams, especially on-site teams is essential.
• UAE Driving license.
• Experience with bicycle and sustainability transportation advocacy.
• Affinity for IT solutions and app-based services.
• Excellent communication skills including cross-cultural skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety at Work.
• Must be comfortable working outdoor conditions for extended periods to monitor and support daily operations.
• Experience managing vendors and partners.
