Responsibilities
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of branches, ensuring adequate resources including manpower, vehicles, and infrastructure are planned and provided to meet business needs.
- Control fleet movement activities and allocate vehicles to branches based on requirement.
- Check rental agreements received from branches, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and forwarded to the accounts department.
- Monitor the service requirements of vehicles and liaise with the maintenance department for service and maintenance.
- Coordinate with rental agents to ensure all prior reservations are fulfilled.
- Monitor monthly rentals and arrange for payments from the accounts department.
- Resolve customer grievances and manage their expectations within the company's parameters.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales activity, vehicle utilization, and maintenance status of the fleet, with recommendations to fulfill business requirements.
People Management Roles and Responsibilities
- Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work, ensuring their continuous development for higher-level roles.
Qualifications
Education/Certification and Continued Education
- Degree in any discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a car rental environment.
