This is a one-year TareeGE Operations Program that focuses on the operational aspects of Heavy Duty Gas Turbines services, with the possibility of extension for up to one more year. The Operations Support Engineer will support and progressively take ownership of multiple data insights and operational processes related to Monthly Reviews and Forecasting. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure, AI-driven opportunities, decision-making support for senior leadership, and cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture (SQDCC).

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced team members to learn the various aspects of maintaining existing processes and will deploy new ones using Lean & AI to improve how the business operates. This program offers a unique opportunity for candidates to understand the operations of a large-scale business and to drive improvements while working with all organizational levels, both regional and global.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist with data analysis and repositories for day-to-day reporting needs.
- Collaborate with the region on demand signal accuracy and validation.
- Maintain a daily record of all outages and track key changes impacting on-time delivery.
- Prepare communications to be shared with the region.
- Monitor key timelines for global critical activities on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensure timely follow-ups with KPI owners and drive positive results.
- Collaborate and partner with functions, stakeholders, and product owners.
- Support other critical processes as needed for Escalations, MOR, and SI&OP.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Data Science, Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, and/or related backgrounds from an accredited university or college.
- Proficient in Excel, intermediate skills in Windows and other Office applications, Power BI, and basic VBA/Tableau skills or familiarity with basic programming languages.
- Understanding of basic Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Chat GPT and Claude.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- In line with the localization requirements of UAE, preference will be given to qualified UAE National talents.
- UAE Nationals holding a Family Book are encouraged to apply.
Desired Characteristics / Qualifications:
- Maximum 2 years of experience in a data reporting and/or data analysis-based role.
- Understanding of chat agents and AI workflows.
- Computer Science/Engineering, Data Science, and/or related Engineering backgrounds preferred.
- Demonstrated accountability and ownership of tasks with quality and integrity.
- Proven ability to be a team player, keen to learn, and adapt to change.
- Serve as an agent of change in the organization for new tools and capabilities.
- Demonstrated project handling and continuous improvement skills.
- Understanding of Lean concepts.
- Strong analytical and process skills.
