Operations Systems Specialist

As an Operations Systems Specialist, you will administer departure control system solutions and manage system-related projects for the company operations and third-party ground handling carriers, including key alliance partners. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring all system settings, parameters, and outputs are accurate, safe, and comply with regulations, aligning with business needs.
• Performing activities and project tasks to execute company and departmental initiatives.
• Actioning seat map changes, including setup, testing, and production deployment.
• Implementing IATCI (through check-in) for the company and partner operations.
• Deploying Amadeus system enhancements, ensuring thorough testing and business alignment.
• Updating messaging and communication (teletype, email) for operational efficiency.
• Testing and escalating system defects as needed.
• Supporting new airport start-ups with check-in and DCS setup.
• Maintaining and improving process documentation and user guides.
• Responding to internal and external functional inquiries.
• Driving continuous improvement in service delivery and satisfaction metrics.
• Identifying and reporting system issues that could affect operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of operational experience in airline and/or ground handling operations.
• On-the-job DCS training.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage system configurations and deployments.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• Subject matter expertise in departure control and/or reservations systems.
• Working understanding of system integration with airline operational workflows.
