Operations Systems Specialist

About the Job: The role involves administering departure control system solutions and managing system-related projects for the company operations and its ground handling partners, ensuring all system settings are accurate, compliant with safety regulations, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute company and departmental initiatives through various activities and project tasks.
• Manage seat map changes, including setup, testing, and deployment.
• Implement IATCI (through check-in) for the company and partner operations.
• Deploy Amadeus system enhancements with thorough testing and business alignment.
• Update messaging and communication (teletype, email) for operational efficiency.
• Test and escalate system defects when necessary.
• Support new airport start-ups by setting up check-in and departure control systems (DCS).
• Maintain and improve process documentation and user guides.
• Respond to internal and external functional inquiries.
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and satisfaction metrics.
• Identify and report system issues that could impact operations.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of operational experience in airline and/or ground handling operations.
• On-the-job DCS training is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage system configurations and deployments.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• Subject matter expertise in departure control and/or reservations systems.
• Understanding of system integration with airline operational workflows.
