Position

Cloud Adoption is a formed organization within the EMEA Technology Cloud Engineering (TCE) group, having the mission to increase customer consumption growth by driving fast activation, nurturing an optimal ramp-up, and removing technical barriers. Aligned to a territory and working together with Sales and Account Cloud Engineers (ACEs), the Cloud Adoption Manager will primarily focus on the post-booking side of our customer’s lifecycle, ensuring successful and sustainable cloud consumption growth.

Responsibilities
The Cloud Adoption Manager will:

  • Collaborate closely with the relevant TCE teams to agree on specific activities and/or deliverables required for each account being managed.
  • Drive a fast and smooth customer activation with a strong focus on minimizing time to first value and accelerating consumption growth.
  • Manage the customer’s Adoption Plan and continuously monitor its progress to guarantee alignment with customer expectations.
  • Provide longer-term customer assistance by proactively monitoring the customer environment, assessing risks, and building mitigation plans.
  • Energize customer interest by sharing information and facilitating connections with relevant Oracle activities.
  • Act as a customer advocate for product features and requirements while ensuring prompt resolution of service requests and escalations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in tech cloud engineering roles with a successful track record of customer engagements.
  • Passion for technology with breadth and depth knowledge, and solid understanding of the cloud technology landscape, preferably with hands-on experience or certification in Oracle, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong experience in the sales lifecycle and OCI architect certifications is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and customer-centric skills.
  • Ability to understand the customer's existing IT landscape, business requirements, and definition of success.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively with various teams and demonstrate high energy and proactivity.
