Oracle Cloud Data Migration Consultant

The company is seeking an Oracle Cloud Data Migration Consultant. The primary responsibilities include leading data extraction, mapping, transformation, and validation activities. The consultant will build and execute migration loads using FBDI, ADFDi, HDL (for HCM), and REST APIs. Additionally, they will develop data templates, mapping sheets, and cleansing guidelines for business users. Coordination with functional, technical, and business teams is essential for data requirements and approvals. The role involves performing mock loads, reconciliations, and providing support during cutover and post-go-live activities, while also troubleshooting data load errors to ensure successful and auditable migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data extraction, mapping, transformation, and validation activities.
• Build and execute migration loads using FBDI, ADFDi, HDL (for HCM), and REST APIs.
• Develop data templates, mapping sheets, and cleansing guidelines for business users.
• Coordinate with functional, technical, and business teams for data requirements and approvals.
• Perform mock loads, reconciliations, and support cutover and post-go-live activities.
• Troubleshoot data load errors and ensure successful, auditable migrations.
• Assist in strategizing the Data Archival strategy.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with FBDI, ADFDi, HDL, REST APIs, and Fusion data models.
• Good SQL skills and understanding of Oracle Cloud module data structures.
• Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and large-volume migration cycles.
• Excellent communication skills and strong collaboration with business and functional teams.
