Position

The Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for maintaining the integrity, availability, performance, and security of all Oracle database systems that support various critical workloads including clinical, ERP, financial, supply-chain, and clinical research within the healthcare environment. The DBA ensures that every Oracle instance is highly available (using RAC/Data Guard), fully recoverable (via RMAN, Data Guard, Flashback), performance-tuned, securely configured, and compliant with relevant regulations and internal cybersecurity standards.

Working Conditions:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer the full lifecycle of Oracle Database (12c / 19c / 21c / 23ai) on Linux and Engineered Systems
  • Operate Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Data Guard, and Active Data Guard
  • Plan and execute backup, archive, and recovery processes
  • Conduct performance tuning, including SQL tuning, AWR/ASH analysis, and index strategy
  • Perform Oracle patching and maintain database security mechanisms
  • Lead incident response for Oracle-related issues and support database refresh and cloning
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and participate in compliance reviews

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills may be beneficial (not explicitly stated in the text).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years dedicated Oracle Database administration experience
  • Experience with RAC and Data Guard in production environments
  • Demonstrable experience in mission-critical environments, preferably in healthcare or banking

Certifications:

  • Mandatory Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) - Oracle Database 19c or higher
