To succeed in this role, the following skillset is essential: expertise in Oracle Database architecture, version-specific features, and tools (e.g., Oracle Enterprise Manager, RMAN, Oracle Data Guard); a strong command of SQL and PL/SQL for querying and scripting within Oracle databases; knowledge of Unix, Linux, and Windows as they relate to Oracle databases; familiarity with Oracle RMAN, data backup strategies, and disaster recovery; understanding of database optimization techniques, indexing, and query performance; ability to diagnose and resolve issues promptly; and knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP as database migrations to the cloud are increasingly common.

Position is full-time and on-site in Sharjah, Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
