Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Monitor database performance metrics and perform tuning and optimization when necessary.
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and other tools.
- Conduct database audits and implement security measures to safeguard data.
- Collaborate with application teams to design and support database-related projects.
- Provide expert troubleshooting support for complex database issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest Oracle technologies and innovations, recommending enhancements to current systems.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with a strong focus on database performance tuning and management.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, installation, configuration, and administration.
- Expertise in RMAN for backup and recovery solutions.
- Strong skills in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Experience with Oracle performance tuning tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with Oracle cloud services and migration strategies is a plus.
