The Oracle Finance Techno-Functional Consultant will support and enhance Oracle Financials modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management. The role involves gathering business requirements, configuring applications, designing technical solutions, supporting integrations, and providing end-user training and ongoing support. This individual will work closely with finance teams, IT developers, and external consultants to deliver high-impact, scalable business solutions.

Responsibilities
The post holder will:
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
- Design and implement Oracle Financials solutions to meet functional and technical needs.
- Configure and support modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, and Cash Management.
- Create and maintain functional specifications, solution documentation, and user manuals.
- Provide techno-functional support for Oracle Finance issues and enhancements.
- Lead or support Oracle upgrades, patch testing, and system implementations.
- Develop and review technical design documents, SQL queries, reports, and workflows.
- Coordinate and conduct system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Interface Oracle Financials with other business systems (HRMS, SCM, CRM, etc.).
- Monitor system performance, resolve data issues, and optimize processes.
- Provide user training, workshops, and post-go-live support.
- Ensure compliance with internal IT governance, audit, and security standards.
- Collaborate with Oracle support and external vendors for issue resolution.
- Manage change requests and impact analysis on existing systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and automation of finance processes.
Qualifications
Education and Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) – Financials or relevant Oracle certifications preferred
- PMP or ITIL certification is a plus
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong expertise in Oracle Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
- Working knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Workflow, and BI Publisher
- Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience with integrations using APIs, web services, or middleware
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with finance processes like P2P, O2C, R2R, and asset lifecycle
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Team-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financials (preferred).

- Business Process Mapping and GAP analysis
- SOX or internal audit compliance frameworks
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials
- Proven experience in end-to-end implementation, upgrades, and support projects
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including finance, audit, and IT
- Strong understanding of finance operations and accounting principles
- Exposure to RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions)
