This role involves implementing and optimizing FAH to transition clients from pass-through accounting to event-based accounting, serving engagements across the MENA region.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Specialize in Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) modules and collaborate closely with clients to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Act as a trusted business advisor and member of a problem-solving team with extensive consulting and industry experience.
- Perform requirements analysis, functional and technical design, implementation, and quality assurance for Oracle FAH integrated with Oracle EBS.
- Define and design accounting architecture to facilitate the transition from standard/pass-through to event-based accounting.
- Analyze accounting impacts, ensuring correct event-to-account mapping, and review solutions developed by other teams for accuracy and compliance.
- Design workaround solutions for source systems that do not support event-based accounting.
- Execute SIT/UAT testing, reconcile, and validate accounting entries, working closely with finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Conduct end-user training, documentation, and change management activities.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH).
- Strong banking domain experience, particularly in financial and sub-ledger accounting.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) integration.
- Proven expertise in event-based accounting and accounting impact analysis.
- Strong experience in FAH configuration, accounting rules & mappings, functional & technical design, and solution review/QC.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is expected.
