About the Job
As a member of the Support organization, your focus will be to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while advocating for customer needs. This role involves resolving non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as addressing technical questions regarding the use and troubleshooting of our Electronic Support Services. You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, facilitating relationships between customers and Support, and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

Responsibilities
- Strong performance tuning skills – Query level tuning, DB tuning, and memory level tuning
- Expert knowledge of Oracle Database, Goldengate, Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Data Guard, and Backup & Recovery
- Strong DBA skills and relevant working experience with Oracle Database 11g, 12c, and 19c
- Experience implementing high availability features of Oracle Database
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 12c/13c is a plus
- Knowledge of DB Security (AVDF, DB Vault, Oracle Key Vault, e-Wallet, TDE) is advantageous
- Sharp technical troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of support processes
- Ability to manage escalated technical situations and develop action plans
- Ability to identify proactive services benefiting customers
- Ability to facilitate issues with Development and Support
- Proficiency in Golden Gate configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Oracle DBA
- Strong performance tuning skills
- Expert knowledge of Oracle Database, Goldengate, Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Data Guard, and Backup & Recovery
- Experience with Oracle Database 12c and 19c
