The Organizational Activities Interface (OAI)/Technical Support Engineer will provide technical field operational services for the UAE Patriot Technical Assistance program. The OAI personnel will advise and assist with the training of Patriot Battalion (BN) and Fire Unit (FU) personnel in required operational skills. You will assist with BN/FU operation software initialization, formulating system databases and communication plans, and provide expertise on system software applications (e.g., initialization, operation, and training). Your responsibilities will ensure that the integrated Phased Array Tracking Radar to Intercept of Target (PATRIOT) System is fully operational, covering all aspects of the Air Battle at the BN and FU levels. Furthermore, you will assist with new equipment training and sustainment training, both in classroom settings and through practical exercises, including software (PDB’s) and hardware (sweeps) updates. Additionally, you will support UAE military personnel in system refresher operator training to help maintain, improve, and upgrade their skills.
During the modernization process, OAI will provide technical advice and assist battery personnel with the operational and tactical procedures associated with the Patriot Missile System. You will conduct operation and management of exercises utilizing practice scenarios with the Patriot ECS and ICC and participate in On-the-Job Training (OJT) Programs, while also providing technical instruction and training at the training center using conference and practical exercise teaching methods.

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist with training for Patriot Battalion and Fire Unit personnel.
• Assist with BN/FU operation software initialization and communication plans.
• Support tasks ensuring the PATRIOT System is operational at the BN and FU levels.
• Conduct new equipment and sustainment training, including software and hardware updates.
• Assist UAE military personnel with system refresher operator training.
• Provide technical advice and assistance to battery personnel regarding operational and tactical procedures.
• Manage exercises using practice scenarios with the Patriot ECS and ICC.
• Perform other related duties as required or directed.
• Deliver technical instruction and training at the training center through various teaching methods.

Qualifications You Must Have

• At least four years of experience with the PATRIOT Air Defense System.
• Directly related experience in the Patriot Evaluation Section and Patriot Tactical Operations at the Battalion or higher level.
• Demonstrated experience with integrated Battalion and Fire Unit-to-Fire Unit (FU-FU) operations.
• Experience instructing PATRIOT organizational classes in both classroom and equipment contexts.
• Knowledge of Brigade/AADCOM level TACSOP’s and capability to assist in training of organizational system upgrades.
• Successful completion of the Patriot Operator and System Mechanic MOS 24T/14E/140E or equivalent training.
• Current Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Working knowledge of PATRIOT integrated battalion and Fire Platoon-to-Fire Platoon operations.
• One year of collective training experience or deployment experience with a PATRIOT Battalion in CONUS or OCONUS.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of related experience, or
• Associates Degree with 8 years of experience, or
• High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience.

• This position is onsite.
• The salary range for this role is $86,800 - $165,200, which reflects a good faith estimate considering various factors, including location, education, skills, and relevant experience.
