OSP Design Manager

About the Job
The role holder is responsible for preparing OSP full design guidelines including CAN Ring design, OSP Fiber, OSP Standards, and OSP PAT, managing end-to-end implementation of OSP, and ensuring compliance with agreed work plans and schedules. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare OSP full design guidelines including CAN Ring design and OSP Fiber standards.
• Manage end-to-end implementation of OSP and ensure compliance with agreed work plans and schedules.
• Specify and follow up on blocking issues and facilitate project work with contractors and the company departments.
• Inspect and accept vendor provided systems and installations for OSP.
• Coordinate project work with vendors and the company departments, ensuring effective design and management of FTTX.
• Evaluate OSP deployment plan, review comments, and approve FDED and design MOPs.
• Communicate guidelines to project leaders, monitor project performance to ensure alignment with plans, and provide technical support to address deviations.
• Develop and maintain material standards for OSP implementation projects, ensuring adherence to work plans and schedules.
• Conduct project planning and control, ensuring effective reporting, monitoring, and scope control.
• Manage for inventory buy and deployment-related activities, such as identifying potential vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience, with prior experience in OSP Design and Implementation within the Telecommunication industry.
• Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Electronics.
• Additional education certifications are preferred.
