Job Description
- Align with clients and various vendors on the necessary tools to support network operations.
- Identify and ensure operational tools are in place.
- Assess the integration and functionality of OSS/BSS systems and validate the interfaces.
- Embed OSS/BSS in testing activities from an end-to-end operational perspective.
- Ensure OSS/BSS are integrated into the client's operational structure for seamless service delivery.
- Facilitate end-to-end observability and traceability across network and customer services.
- Enable autonomous networks (AN) to introduce automation, analytics, AI, machine learning, and generative AI.
- Manage data enablement, access, and quality across networks and services.
- Collect and refine client requirements for OSS/BSS.
- Collaborate with module vendors regarding functionality and capabilities of existing tools.
- Ensure OSS/BSS tools are operationally ready for Network Operations Center (NOC) processes, including incident management and release management.
- Support data management across all OSS/BSS tools.
- Provide the Program Management Office (PMO) with updates on program-related issues and risks in the OSS/BSS domain.
- Assist the Cloud Lead in integrating OSS/BSS into the network cloud architecture.
- Support the Network Migrations Lead in migrating existing OSS/BSS or their data as required.
- Work with the Operations Lead to incorporate OSS/BSS into operational structures.
- Collaborate with the Head of E2E Network Architecture to define necessary interfaces and technical requirements in the OSS/BSS domain.
Qualifications
Preferred skills for this position include expertise in Business Support Systems (BSS), End-to-End (E2E) processes, interfaces, KPIs, open-source software, program management, project governance, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
