As an OT Cybersecurity Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Engineering, implementing, and monitoring security measures for the protection of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) or Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and their related networks.
- Designing security architecture for ICS systems and developing detailed cybersecurity designs that comply with best practices.
- Engaging in the entire software/system lifecycle, including design, documentation, installation, configuration, and testing.
- Managing system backup technologies, deploying endpoint security solutions, and implementing network-based firewalls.
- Conducting firmware updates, configuring domain controller settings, and preparing comprehensive system documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field). A degree in Cybersecurity is preferred.
- Certifications: Valid certification in OT security (e.g., CISSP, GICSP, OSCP) is highly desirable.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years as a Design/Site Engineer with a focus on IT/OT security, preferably with ICS systems and cybersecurity experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in large EPC projects.
- Key Skills Include:
- VxRail Clusters and virtualization platforms.
- Endpoint protection solutions and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
- Knowledge of network-based firewalls and industrial control systems.
