Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end OT cybersecurity consulting engagements, from initial discoveries through to architecture definition and roadmap delivery.
- Perform initial and detailed risk assessments for ICS environments to identify threat scenarios and relevant business risks.
- Conduct network and system architecture reviews to understand the OT network structure, identify vulnerabilities, and provide management recommendations.
- Conduct interviews with engineering, operations, IT, and safety stakeholders to gather information.
- Determine Target Security Levels (IEC 62443) based on threat modeling and asset criticality.
- Translate risk assessment findings into actionable technical requirements for engineering teams.
- Act as a liaison between CISOs, engineering leaders, and plant operations, translating cyber risk into operational impact and vice versa.
- Support Sales teams by contributing to RFPs, statements of work, and service scoping for OT/ICS cybersecurity engagements.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in OT/ICS environments (e.g., Utilities, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Transportation) including brownfield sites.
- 5+ years of experience in consulting/risk management.
- Certifications such as GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Expert, and CISA with industrial experience are preferred.
- A B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Expertise in designing OT security architectures prioritizing availability and safety.
- Understanding of ICS/OT network architectures and ability to apply OT-specific risk methods.
- Knowledge of industrial control systems and relevant standards (e.g., IEC 62443, ISA-TR-84.00.09).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and the ability to interpret OT-specific CVEs.
Soft Skills:
- Proficiency in writing technical reports with strong communication skills.
- Ability to present high-level information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative working style with an ability to elicit cooperation from various sources.
