As an OT Cybersecurity Lead Consultant (Professional Services), you will support partners and asset owners through their digital transformation by delivering pragmatic OT cybersecurity assessments, architectures, and roadmaps that protect evolving OT/ICS environments while maintaining safety, availability, and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end OT cybersecurity consulting engagements, from initial discoveries through architecture definition and roadmap delivery.
  • Perform initial and detailed risk assessments for ICS environments, identifying key assets, threat scenarios, and business-relevant risks.
  • Conduct network and system architecture reviews to understand the structure and functions of the OT network, and identify vulnerabilities and design gaps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in engineering, operations, IT, and safety to determine Target Security Levels (IEC 62443).
  • Translate risk assessment findings into actionable technical requirements for engineering teams.
  • Act as a trusted bridge between CISOs, engineering leaders, and plant operations, translating cyber risk into operational impact.
  • Support Sales teams with RFPs, statements of work, and service scoping for OT/ICS cybersecurity engagements.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

  • Ability to design OT security architectures prioritizing availability, safety, and recoverability.
  • Expertise in ICS/OT network architectures and the Purdue Reference Model (ISA-95).
  • Familiarity with OT specific risk methods and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Understanding of OT standards such as IEC62443, ISA-TR-84.00.09, and NIST SP 800-82.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and related architecture design.
  • Proficiency in understanding technologies like NGFW, IDS, IPS, and SIEM within an OT environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years in OT/ICS environments (e.g., Utilities, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas).
  • At least 5 years in consulting/risk management.
  • Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and SIS systems.
  • Preferred certifications: ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Expert, CISA.
  • Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Soft Skills:

  • Proficiency in writing technical reports.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in English.
  • Experience presenting to non-technical stakeholders, including C-Level executives.
  • Ability to manage IT vs. OT friction and basic project management skills.

Travel Requirements: Up to 30% within the Gulf region.

Language Requirements: Strong command of English.
