What Will You Do?
- Lead the execution and delivery of Operational Technology Cyber Security (OTCS) solutions for Digital Power Automation projects across Heavy Industries, Critical Infrastructure, and Data Center segments within the Gulf region.
- Own the design, validation, implementation, and commissioning of OT Cyber Security architectures (align to Purdue models) and solutions, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Serve as the OT Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) for bids, proposals, and tenders, reviewing customer specifications, responding to RFIs/RFPs, identifying cybersecurity requirements, and recommending optimal OT security architectures and technical solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with Project Management, Engineering, and Service teams while providing technical coordination with Level-3/Level-4 support functions and global Lines of Business (LoB) to ensure successful project execution and issue resolution.
- Provide technical leadership and governance to application engineering teams by promoting cybersecurity best practices, secure-by-design principles, and adherence to applicable cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive the development, evaluation, and validation of innovative OT cybersecurity applications, system architectures, and defense strategies to enhance the resilience, reliability, and security of Digital Power Automation systems.
- Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and security hardening activities for OT environments, including SCADA, DCS, Energy Management, and Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and customer-specific cybersecurity requirements.
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), cybersecurity audits, and security assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop cybersecurity documentation, including security architecture diagrams, hardening guides, test procedures, compliance matrices, and technical reports.
- Provide technical training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to project engineers and field service teams on OT cybersecurity technologies and best practices.

- OT Cybersecurity for Electrical, Power, and Industrial Automation Systems
- OT Asset Management, Asset Lifecycle Management, and Asset Inventory Control
- Vulnerability Assessment, Detection, Remediation, and Risk Management
- Strong hands-on experience with various Operating Systems including Windows, Linux, etc.
- Experience with Virtualization Platforms: Hyper-V, VMware, etc.
- Identity and Access Management using Active Directory and Domain Controllers
- Industrial Network Infrastructure including Managed Switches, Firewalls, and DMZ Architectures
- Cybersecurity Monitoring and Detection Technologies, including:
- NIDS (Network Intrusion Detection Systems)
- SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)
- Data Diodes
- Syslog Configuration and Management
- Patch and Update Management using WSUS (Windows Server Update Services)
- System Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions including Acronis Backup & Restore
- OT Security Hardening, Access Control, Network Segmentation, Routing/VLAN, and Security Compliance
- Troubleshooting, Commissioning, and Support of Critical OT Infrastructure
What's in it for Me?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of professional experience in the execution, commissioning, and support of Energy Management, Power Automation, Industrial Automation, or OT systems projects.
- Certification in ISA/IEC 62443 Expert, GICSP, CISSP, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in site-based testing, commissioning, maintenance, technical support, and successful project handover/closure activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, project teams, and technical stakeholders.
