Panel Builders Channel Engineer

About the Role
Join our team in Dubai, a strategic hub for our operations in the Middle East. In this role, you will define and implement the strategy for the Panel Builders channel in the UAE, driving channel effectiveness and supporting the achievement of country targets. You will manage partner agreements, develop performance assessment dashboards, and engage with partners to maximize business opportunities. Your market insights and commercial abilities will be essential in identifying and recruiting new partners, and you will coordinate closely with sales and pricing teams for project-specific support. Additionally, you will represent the company along with panel builders for project delivery discussions with customers and assess existing partnerships to recommend growth strategies.

What You’ll Do

• Define and implement the strategy for Panel Builders channel for the UAE to drive channel effectiveness and achieve country targets.
• Manage assigned partner agreements in coordination with country organization, legal, and marketing teams.
• Develop and utilize commercial dashboards for performance assessment activities for channel partners, implementing necessary actions for performance improvement.
• Conduct weekly pipeline reviews with panel builders in coordination with the sales team.
• Analyze market intelligence, trends, competitor behavior, and conduct SWOT analysis to inform actions and strategies.
• Gain full understanding of market offers, products, and systems.
• Collaborate with product managers to ensure product launches meet market requirements.
• Engage early with panel builders to maximize opportunities for winning jobs.
• Identify, qualify, and recruit new channel partners to meet targeted segments and channel targets.
• Coordinate with sales and pricing teams for project-specific commercial support.
• Define key targets per account with the sales team and ensure they are achieved through regular follow-ups and support actions.
• Represent the company and collaborate with panel builders during project delivery discussions with customers.
• Assess existing panel builders and recommend actions and development plans for business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading and controlling Panel Builders channel business in the UAE or the region.

Skills

• Experience in electrical distribution, switchboard business, sales, and marketing.
• Strong technical knowledge of LV switchgear, especially ACBs, MCCBs, controls, switchboard systems, and assemblies.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the UAE and Oman.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market and panel builder channels.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
