Responsibilities
- Partner Enablement and Execution
- Enablement Execution: Lead or contribute to the delivery of workshops, bootcamps, and trainings to build partners’ technical skills.
- Technical Engagement: Lead deep technical engagements, including briefings, proof of concepts, architectural design sessions, and hackathons.
- Best Practice Sharing: Collaborate with Microsoft’s Engineering teams to generate technical insights and facilitate best practices sharing.
- Solution Development: Aid partners in developing and implementing high-quality solutions and services leveraging Microsoft’s latest technologies.
- Evangelism: Promote partners’ practices and solutions in customer implementations through technical briefings and architecture review sessions.
- Tech Sales: Enable partners on technical pre-sales skills while supporting initial wins and addressing technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, or consulting.
- Proven track record of building deep technical sales relationships with CXOs and practice-building executives in ISVs, MSPs, CDs, and SIs.
- Ability to solve partner problems and unblock technical issues using internal or external resources.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Cloud Solution Area products and services, along with knowledge of the market business environment.
- 6-10+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales, technology solutions/practice development, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in one or more of the following technologies: cloud, mobile, web application development, cloud-native application architecture (containers, microservices, API management), and modern software development techniques (DevOps, CI/CD).
- Experience with container orchestration systems (Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Azure).
