As a Partner Technical Specialist, you will utilize your technical expertise to build trusted advisor relationships with IBM business partners. Your key responsibilities will include leading technical discussions, collaborating with internal technical experts, and designing effective solutions that incorporate IBM technologies. You will influence the technical strategies of partners and enhance the overall ecosystem's capability to deploy IBM technologies effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with business partners.
- Participate in strategic discussions and help shape partner technical agendas.
- Identify, design, and implement effective solutions catering to client and partner needs.
- Increase partners' technical capabilities in deploying IBM technology at scale.
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Knowledge of IBM Technology and Automation Platform solutions.
- Experience with Hybrid Cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in Design Thinking and architecture principles.
- Understanding of consultative and complex technical sales, and technology solution development.
- Familiarity with IBM sales tools and enabling partners with resources.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
- Knowledge of containerization solutions (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).
- Familiarity with application development and maintenance processes (e.g., DevOps, Ansible, Terraform).
- Understanding of application servers, integration platforms, and API management systems.
- Programming skills in Java and JavaScript.
