Partner Technical Specialist - Storage

The 'IBM Ecosystem' encompasses thousands of partners who 'Build' on, 'Sell' or 'Service' IBM technologies and platforms. As a Partner Technical Specialist, your objective is to influence the technical strategies of partners, embedding IBM's technology portfolio into their reference architectures and solutions.

In this deeply technical sales role, you will enhance partners' capabilities by enabling their sales and technical teams to effectively demonstrate IBM Technology at scale. Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Pre-Sales Technical Activities: Facilitate pre-sales technical demonstrations and co-creation sessions that lead to proofs of concept (PoC) and minimal viable products (MVPs).
• Building Technical Skills: Deliver joint-learning activities to enhance partner technical skills and facilitate co-selling opportunities.
• Knowledge Expansion: Continuously expand knowledge in areas such as Kubernetes, Red Hat, Docker, Cloud Foundry, Cloud Native Security, and Infrastructure.
• Growth-Minded Culture: Foster a culture of co-creation and technical excellence, leveraging industry expertise to drive innovations that contribute to partner success.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Deep technical expertise in Storage products, with the capacity to engage in complex architectural discussions.
• Excellence in communication and collaboration, with a proven record of successfully influencing stakeholders and closing complex technology sales cycles.
• Strong attention to detail and system management skills.
