Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Brand Technical Specialist, you'll be the go-to subject matter expert, collaborating with colleagues across the broader Sales team to advise and support client engagements throughout the sales process. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Client Strategy Development: Develop client strategies for IBM Sustainability Software portfolio.
- Solution Definition: Define compatible IBM Sustainability solutions including ESG solutions, Asset Management solutions, and Supply Chain solutions.
- Proof of Concept Creation: Provide proof of concepts and simplify complex technical concepts for client understanding.
- Stakeholder Relationship Building: Build credibility and trust with stakeholders to facilitate the closing of complex Sustainability Software technology deals.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Demonstrated expertise in consultative selling techniques to deliver tailored technology solutions for complex use-cases, preferably related to ESG and Asset Management solutions.
- Ability to translate business goals into effective tech solutions.
- Collaboration on tech strategies for business success.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven track record of influencing diverse senior stakeholders.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Knowledge of corporate actions and responses to climate change and/or ESG reporting standards such as SASB, GRI, CDP, GRESB, NGERS, etc.
- Domain expertise in sustainability, energy, and/or asset optimization management solutions and services is highly desirable.
