The Partner Technical Specialist plays a vital role in achieving this mission by enhancing technical capacity for both Ecosystem Partners and the Select Client Segment.
As a Partner Technical Specialist - Territory (PTS-T), your mission is to develop the Ecosystem's technical capabilities to create repeatable scale, ultimately contributing to an increase in IBM’s revenue. You'll work closely with sellers and clients to forge relationships, assess their needs, gain their trust, and demonstrate how IBM's leading solutions can address their challenges while providing value to their business.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Client Strategy Development: Create strategic plans for clients with a focus on IT Automation solutions.
- IBM IT Automation Solution Design: Craft practical IBM IT Automation solutions that enhance existing technology stacks.
- Proof of Concept Delivery: Deliver proof of concepts and demystify technical concepts to ensure client understanding.
- Building Credibility and Trust: Establish credibility and trust with clients, which is crucial for finalizing complex technology deals.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Extensive knowledge of the IT Automation and FinOps market to effectively consult and establish yourself as a trusted advisor to clients.
- Familiarity with IBM IT Automation and FinOps solutions (Instana, Turbonomic, Concert, Apptio, Flexera).
- Experience with competitive IT Automation and FinOps solutions (Dynatrace, AppDynamic, Datadog).
- Experience with RH Openshift / Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, etc.).
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Understanding of Infrastructure automation (HashiCorp Terraform preferred).
- Familiarity with RH Ansible.
